Is it me or the ratings for Thursdays are in a better position compared to the previous ones?

You'd be correct! This past Thursday's was the highest spot we've gotten in the past four weeks. Yay us!

Ha, the retention rate of SPN is over 90 %! Why don't they try to switch SV and SPN during the re-runs to find out if the low ratings are the result of a bad show or severe competition? I mean, SV will be on air for the next season and that's it.

Wow, wouldn't that be great? I would really like to see the outcome of that. But I think SPN is stuck with the later hour because of it's blood and gore content, as opposed to the more "wholesome" SV.

CW needs to consider that in a week they have 2.68 million viewing Supernatural, LOL........

Kimber

and to pull 1.0 million on a night they're normally not on is GREAT....well IMHO, LOL

I really do hope they're paying attention to the total viewers, too!

Especially considering that CW has done zero advertising for the Sunday showings, and it was also Father's Day AND it was also No Exit. Blech.

Ah, Hidden Palms...and another one bites the dust. Not that I'm going to miss it. Like we needed another teen soap opera?

Which puts poor SPN at the bottom of the ratings for Sunday. :( I think part of the problem is that the CW isn't even advertising that SPN is on Sundays. All the ads I see are for Thursdays. Guess they don't want to go to the added expense of printing Sundays on the screen and having the announcer say the word. They couldn't have put together a quickie little ad saying something like "Catch SPN all summer long on Thursdays and Sundays 9/8 Central"? *Sigh*

Does it make me a bad person that I'm happy that another show of the CW network was canceled because nobody watched it? Maybe now, they'll start appreciating Supernatural :P

Well Ostroff certainly thinks so! She's trying to turn SPN into one, isn't she? Grrr... I'm certainly not upset that HP is gone - it just goes to show Dawn that people are *tired* of the teen angst shows.

Not only are the Sunday showings not advertised, it was also Father's Day AND it was No Exit. Blech.

Just out of curiosity, does your source have ratings for Grey's Anatomy and CSI? How are their repeats doing?

I had to go back a few weeks to find Grey's since ABC has been showing the NBA playoffs, but their last repeat drew almost 6 million, and CSI has been averaging about 9.5 million these last four weeks.

No one knows! They haven't advertised it at ALL. Stupid, freaking CW...
