The hubby and I have been working our way through season 1 of Tru Calling and we sat down to watch another episode while we ate dinner tonight. I looked away from the screen for a second as the show first got started, because the cat was messing around by my feet and when I looked back up, hubby said to me, "you didn't see what was just on the screen, did you?" and I'm like, "no, why?". But he just smiled and shook his head.

Well a bit later on in the episode the dead body gets wheeled into the morgue and the body bag unzipped...and I find myself staring at Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

I'm like, "what the!" and that's when hubby said he saw JDM listed as the first guest star when I had looked away for a second.

It was so cool to see him!  The episode was called Two Pair, from 2004.

As I watched him, I couldn't help but be sad about John Winchester all over again. We miss you on Supernatural, Jeffrey!

Oh god, mine did, too! I just ached for the boys and that end scene with Dean and the crowbar is so freaking heartbreaking, no matter how many times I see it.

Okay... where can I find a guy that can just understand and goes along with my obsessions like yours does? ;)

And why is JDM always DEAD?

Ha ha! Yep, my hubby is quite the guy and I love him for indulging me in my fannish-ness. :-)

And why is JDM always DEAD?

But he was only dead for a short time! Tru saved him in the end. :-)

You are a mean, cruel person. Have I mentioned that before?

You have mentioned that on numerous occasions but I never take you seriously. I know that's why you love me. ;)
And I KNOW I make you laugh!

Awwww, Jeffrey! YES WE DO MISS YOU!!!!

Come Back, Daddy!

*sniff*

This reminds me, I saw Jim Beaver in an X-Files rerun this week! He was a coroner or something! All cleaned up with a neat little mustache and no hat! The only way Case and I recognized him was from his voice!

Come Back, Daddy!

Ah, stop, you're making me cry!

No way, Bobby was in XF?? Do you remember the episode? You know what they say about the revolving door of Vancouver actors. :-)

I had no idea so I IMDb'd him. It was called Field Trip and he was the coroner. BUT even better, he was in a series call IMPALA! Hee! Also, there is a pic of him there, where he looks just like he did on X-Files.

You should check this page out, Jim is really cool! He was a marine in 'Nam! He was with the Dallas Shakespeare Festival for 5 seasons. And he's writing a biography of George Reeves!

LOL! I know! Is that not too bizarre? But at least he was only dead for a short period of time, since Tru saved him on the rewind day. :-) Can we have a rewind day for All Hell Breaks Loose 2??
