Wow, I'm so disappointed in these ratings. Yet another outstanding episode and it yet again falls at the bottom of the rankings pile for the season. I mean, the freaking Paris Hilton episode got better ratings than Point of No Return. That's just wrong on so many levels.

They just don´t deserve that!!!!

I really hope it´ll change when this arch is done and we´re back to the roots as Kripke promised. I think, that´s what people learned to love the years before and many of them wandered off because of this seemingly neverending angel/demon/apocalypse theme, so hopefully they´ll return next season.

They just don´t deserve that!!!!

Tell me about it! Point of No Return was amazing and to see these dismal ratings hurts. :-(

I think, that´s what people learned to love the years u before and many of them wandered off because of this seemingly neverending angel/demon/apocalypse theme, so hopefully they´ll return next season.

I agree. The ratings started going downhill at the end of last season when the brothers were constantly fighting then on completely different sides as the apocalypse storyline kicked into full swing. And I understand why people left. It was painful to watch. And now to have two years of angels vs. demons is a bit much. I've got my fingers crossed that when SPN gets back to its roots next year and we're done with all of this that we'll get our audience back. [fingers crossed]

It really was and is painful to watch (hopefully they are done with it for good now, but with Kripke...who knows for sure??!!) and honestly, if it hadn´t been for the JJs I might have left the boat as well along the way....but, GOSH, would I have missed a lot of fantastic tv and because I ALWAYS found something to love in EVERY episode, I´m still here and excited and THANKFUL and hope for many more seasons, so we desperately need our happy viewers back.....*crosses fingers together with you*

I nearly left SPN fandom altogether back in season three because I was so disgusted with Ruby and Bela. I despised both of those characters and they were so ruining the show for me I stopped watching if they were in an episode. To this day there are ones I've still never seen from that season.

But I stuck it out and like you, I'm thankful I did, because otherwise I would've missed episodes like Point of No Return and Dark Side of the Moon.

So here's hoping that we can lure some of our old viewers back next season when SPN hits the "reset" button. :-)
