Ok, I have got to stop taking Saturday off of the computer, because everytime I do stuff happens!

Like, oh, Jensen getting freaking JUMPED ON by some batshit fangirl at the Asylum con this weekend. WTF?? Seriously! I just HATE hearing crap like that. As if the boy isn't shy enough around his fans, this lunatic has to go and do something like this. I hear he recovered pretty quickly, though, but still, I'm afraid that Jensen won't do the stage door thing at A Few Good Men next month because of that one idiot's actions. [sigh]

Here's an exerpt of what happened from krazykipper:

-I actually witnessed the Jensen being tackled incident. Jensen comes out of the photo studio thing and this girl throws herself on him with her arms around his neck and kisses him on the lips hard (even though Jensen's girlfriend - I found out later, was standing right there) security pulled her off and took Jensen into the nearest life (elevator) and this girl squeals and jumps into the lift with him. And then is dragged down the stairs and thrown out by security.

This was really weird. Jensen actually took it really well. Apparently in the autograph line later he was joking about it, which since a lot of people (including the PA types) thought he might walk out after that was really cool.

Again I say - WTF?? She freaking KISSED him??

But I've also been reading some great, great reports from Asylum on how wonderful Jensen was, which puts a HUGE smile on my face. Yes, the boy may be shy or reserved, but that doesn't mean for one second that he doesn't love his fans.

I'm so insanely jealous of all of you who got to meet Jensen this weekend and I thank you profusely for the reports and the pics and the video. And if that batshit fangirl has screwed up MY one and only chance to meet Jensen, I swear to you I will fly to the UK and hunt her down.

In other Supernatural news, sen1995 sent me a link to an article in Variety that has a sentence that says "the returning Supernatural". Whoo-hoo! Love hearing news like that!

Also from sen1995 is a link to a possible schedule for CW next season, from Pilot Buzz Central, which has SPN listed on Sunday next year. I'm honestly thinking that's not a bad idea. X-Files flourished on Sunday nights, as did Charmed on the WB. Both of those shows lasted many years. SPN needs to get away from CSI and Grey's, bottom line, so I'm willing to take the chance of it moving to Sunday nights.

And lastly, I've got like...fifty-thousand comments to answer back starting from last Thursday. And I've got alli_everyday to thank for most of them, since they're feedback from my hot, smutty, dirty-talk Jensen/Jared fic, Private Time. :-)  I really have to laugh at everyone who wrote and said that Greg totally knew Jensen and Jared needed some alone time together that morning, which is why he conveniently stopped for gas and coffee - because I totally had a scene mapped out in my head, for the end of the story, from Greg's POV, where he walks back from Starbucks, sees the truck rocking, smiles and goes back to get the muffins. Hee! So kudos to you who thought that about Greg, because you were totally right!  :-)

All right, enough rambling from me for today. Gotta go and start taking care of those comments.

The report I read was that the question was just about whether he had seen fanfiction. Jensen is the one who brought up wincest, as in 'I did see this thing called wincest, Kim Manners printed some out for us'.
I can't even think of what to say about the fact that Kim printed some out.....yikes.
Later on, someone said the fans want Dean and Sam to hug more (more?, well...). He answered, 'I thought we got off the wincest subject, nah, we'll hug..."
There was also the mention that all the gay references in the episodes were Kripke's way of telling the guys, 'buy a clue'. I
I found this in the comment section of one person's report.

So, at least the clueless fan didn't mention fanfic, but it seems to be that only us old timers are wary of mentioning any form of fanfic to the actors or producers. It was always a cardinal rule in fandom - fanfic was NOT brought to the attention of the people involved in the show. The younger people who only know fandom thru the internet don't seem to have that caution. Perhaps it is because the fanfic is now on the internet and anyone can access it ;-) In the olden days, you had to know about fandom and zines and such to be able to read it.
Man, I feel old ;-)
As for that idiot who jumped him - well, I am appalled at the fact that more people aren't more..well, appalled at her. Frankly, no matter what Jensen says in public or the fact that he met with her afterwards and accepted her apology, I would bet my life's savings that in private and to his friends, he is saying much different things. I've seen it happen with other actors, but in their cases, they came out looking bad. For example, when Chris Potter was on KF-The Legend Continues, he was overheard at a con talking to a friend and the gist of what he said was something like, 'why are all my fans fat and ugly'. Not a good move there, Chris ;-)
But in this case, I wouldn't blame Jensen at all if to his friends he was saying things, 'man, that chick was crazy' or some such stuff. He would be totally right in that assessment.
And I'm sorry, but there is no excuse for physically attacking someone, no matter how much you love them as an actor ;-)
I really felt awful when I heard this because I know that it will most likely seriously curtail Jensen's attendance at cons or any fan type gathering. We knew from other first hand reports that he is rather tentative anyway when it comes to big groups of just screaming fans; now he has to fear being jumped. Not a good thing at all, period.
Me thinks he needed the Sasquatch there to protect him, although with Jared's track record, he probably would have broken something in defense of Jensen's body ;-)
I loved how in the panel, Jensen said he has the same stunt guy that he did on Dark Angel, but that the guy doesn't get to do much, however, since Jared broke his arm, he freaked out the producers and now they watch both of them more carefully ;-) Oh Jared, why are you so fragile? lol.

Which just KILLS me! I mean, one, that Jensen even brought it up. He could've easily said, "yes, I know about fanfic" and left it at that. But no! He brought it up himself! And that KIM is the one who introduced it to them! Dirty old man. ;-) LOL!

Yes!! I mean, talk about a BIG no-no. All you do is run the risk of bring down wrath upon all our heads and have websites shut down, etc. for copyright infringement, etc. I guess these young people don't for one minute even consider that. Grrr....

And that's what pisses me off the most - that the actions of one idiot has now jeopardized the chances that us SANE fans have at seeing him in the future. I'm thanking my lucky stars that I'm going to see A few Good Men. It may be my only chance to ever see Jensen.
