Over at the main page of the Ten Inch Hero myspace page, there' s a slideshow of pics from the Newport Beach and Santa Cruz film festivals - including some yummy ones of Jensen. :-)

Also saw on the TIH blog:

We had a wonderful time in Santa Cruz. Thank you to Jane and all the terrific film fest volunteers who work so hard. Special thanks to all the fans and friends who came to see us. We are especially proud to win the Festival's award for best soundtrack

~~~~
That's so awesome for everyone involved with Ten Inch Hero. :-)  Their first award! Congrats!
Ok, the rest of you film festival people - let's get this film booked at more of these fests so that the rest of us fans who are clamoring to see it get the chance! It's an award winner for crying out loud! How can you pass on it??
Thanks, Barb! And another director's cut is up.
Amen! I so want to see this film.
And I just noticed that cwtv.com has put up a second director's cut for All Hell Breaks Loose - Part I. Spoilery, of course!
Oooh, I like your Jensen icon there, Deborah! And yeah, why can't this film go into wide distribution like now??
As for the director's cuts - I'm staying away! :-)
I know! I need to find contact information for some of the film fests here in Chicago and tell them to book this movie!
Thanks for posting the link! It is cool to see pics of the theater where I saw the movie and the other pics of downtown Santa Cruz, such as it is ;-) It's a really small place and that street where the theater is is rather shabby to tell the truth,lol. I mean, the best way to describe Santa Cruz is funky; a perfect place for the movie to be set in, even if they didn't film there ;-)
Patty and I didn't stay for the awards at the closing ceremonies, so it was nice to read that the film won best soundtrack.
Oh, you're very welcome! I've never been to Santa Cruz. I like your description of it as "funky". :-)
And yeah, isn't it cool that they won? I'd heard the music was good and this proves it!
Geez, I want to see this film so bad!
If I remember correctly, the SC festival was the last showing. They're trying to get big studio backing for a full release, so they have no plans to do anything but focus on that. The soundtrack deserved to win. The music was really damned good.
Oh, really? When I talked to Betsy last week she said they were still trying to get into other film fests. I guess I'm of two minds about it - I desperately want to see TIH at a fest here in Chicago, but at the same time I'd love it if it was finally released all over the country.
Man, I want to see this so bad!
Then go with what Betsy said! Because she'd obviously have more up-to-date info.
Dude, she was sweet! When I asked her how much fun they had casting the parts, she giggled.
LOL! Oh I can imagine! I mean, look at all the totally awesome actors she got! Lucky lady. :-)
I'm sorry, I don't know the names of the songs, as I haven't been fortunate enough to see the film yet. :-(
