Ok, apparently I've lost my mind - this afternoon when I got home from work I bought airfare and tickets to see Jensen in  A Few Good Men. I swear, this has got to be the craziest thing I've ever done! LOL!

But I've not gone crazy by myself, oh no. All it took was one phone call to my best buddy [profile] charityflint this morning saying "We have GOT to go to Dallas. We can DO this!" and she caved like a house of cards in a matter of minutes. :-)

So yeah, we're off to Dallas to see Jensen (in a military uniform!!) live and in person in June, for not one, but TWO performances. Yep, we got tickets for both the Friday night and Saturday night shows. Heck, I figure if we're down there we'll make the most of it and see him as often as we can!

This reminds me of when I flew to NY to see Ron Perlman in 3 performances of A Few Good Men. And I made many other trips to see my favs.

Have a really good time and take lots of pictures.

When I went to see Perlman and Hamilton in Love Letters in LA, I hid a tape recorder and taped the performance. LOL With the current technology you could return with many mementos.

Ron Perlman also did A Few Good Men? No way! What part did he play? See, isn't it fun to be impulsive and do something like this? LOL!

Oooh, a tape recorder? Yeah, I could get one of those small ones! Brilliant idea! It'd be like listening to books on tape then. Hee!

Perlman played the Nicholson role. He chewed a cigar and the scenery the whole time. Bradley Whitford played the Tom Cruise character.

If you tape, consider using tape that is long enough so that it doesn't click off during a quiet scene. 8/

Also, you may get to pose for a photo with Jensen if you are by the right door at the right time. Now that's a great memento. ;D I'm excited for you!

Oh wow, yeah, I can easily see Perlman playing the Nicholson part. I have a feeling that Lou Diamond Phillips is playing the same part, and I'm having trouble with that in my head. He's not...mean enough, you know? I wouldn't fear him like Jack or Ron. They've got a...presence that I don't think Lou can pull off. But hey, I may be surprised!

Thanks for the hint on the tape length!

And I am going to do my utmost best to get to meet Jensen after the play if he comes out the stage door. If I get a picture with him I think I'll faint!
