Update on guest star for SPN episode 20

Well, even though both imdb.com and spoilerfix listed Jeffrey Dean Morgan as appearing in episode 20, What is And What Should Never Be, the article in the new TV Guide says that JDM was unavailable to reprise his role as John Winchester.

I am SO disappointed to hear this, but I should've seen it coming, since he was nowhere to be found in the promo pics that were released. [sigh]

Damn. :-(

Well, I know folks don't like to be spoiled, but if you saw the recent set reports from the bloggers, there was a picture of a prop that made the rounds that kind of gave away the fact that John wouldn't be in this episode ;-)


I won't describe it unless asked - I can never remember whether or not people want to be spoiled or not!
I also can report on what I read as to John's fate in this episode, but I can't recall where I read it or whether or not it's true.

I don't want to say anything too specific here, either, but I know what prop you're talking about. But since the reporters were there to see filming of the season finale, I thought that the prop had to do with either ep. 21 or 22. Especially since we all thought JDM would be in ep. 20. Now, of course it makes perfect sense. :-(

Oh, don't say anything about John's fate! I'll wait for the episode for that, as sad as I'll be that he's no longer in it.

Me, too! We were totally fooled and now knowing that, it completely blows my theory out of the water, what I thought was going to happen in the finale, since it was based on that prop. Now I'm really in the dark!
