From Marc Berman at The Programming Insider:
Also in the 9 p.m. hour were Fox’s soon-to-conclude The O.C. (Viewers: #5, 3.82 million; A18-49: #5, 1.6/ 4) and the CW’s Supernatural (Viewers: #5, 3.34 million; A18-49: #5, 1.4/ 3). Retention this week for Supernatural out of Smallville -- Viewers: 68 percent, A18-49: 70 percent -- was more than acceptable given the competition.
Half hour breakdown:
9:00 p.m. V: 3.43 million, A18-49: 1.4/ 3
9:30 p.m. V: 3.25 million, A18-49: 1.4/ 3
And for comparison:
One Tree Hill (repeat): 1.56 million
Beauty and the Geek: 4.07 million
Gilmore Girls: 4.26 million
Veronica Mars: 2.74 million
Everybody Hates Chris: 2.76 million
All of Us: 2.36 million
Girlfriends: 2.35 million
The Game: 2.26 million
Smallville: 4.94 million
So we slipped one spot down this week, not beating Beauty and the Geek like last week and we were down a bit from last week, but we're still drawing good numbers since we came back from the winter hiatus. And our retention rates out of Smallville went up from last week, so that's good. :-)

Date: 2007-02-03 05:21 am (UTC)I found the final national ratings (live +24) at one of Berman's forums:
Supernatural:
- 3,368,000 viewers
- 2.1/3 HH
- 1.4/3 A18-49
- 1.6/4 A18-34
So the number of viewers and the 18-34 went up some - I'll take anything we can get.
