Christmas came early at the office! Found out we're getting a special $1,200 bonus today on top of our regular quarterly bonus! Holy crap! Now I can pay off all those gifts I bought. :-)

If there’s ONE thing I can’t complain about my company, it’s that they can indeed be very generous. Before working here I never received any kind of bonus, so it’s very nice.

I used part of that bonus to buy myself a new winter jacket today!

Wow, Working for the government, we never got any bonus'. Lucky if we got a yearly step increase. But it was a choice. I think a lot of businesses do give those kind of rewards to their staff. In the medical profession, guess they thought we didn't want it. Glad you have some extra money to spend or pay off presents.

Aww, glad you like the outside of our house. I just decorated my cubicle at work on Friday (posted pics earlier this morning) and yep, I do need to change my LJ theme, too!
