Pardon me while I SQUEE from the rooftops. Just found out three freaking awesome actors have been added to Wizard World here in Chicago in August:

David Duchovny
Sebastian Stan
Christian Kane

OMFG!! David Duchovny!! I never in my life thought I'd get to meet him! I may not survive the encounter. :-)  I'm planning on buying his VIP pass with photo, autograph and seat at his panel. I already know what I want him to sign - the cover of Rolling Stone with he and Gillian in bed together. I had Gillian sign it a few years ago at DragonCon.

Sebastian Stan?? Bucky Barnes himself?? Woot! With all of the other Marvel actors signing up for Wizards all over the country I can only hope that Seb is the first of many others they'll be adding. If Chris Evans and/or Chris Hemsworth shows up I'll be dead on the floor.

Christian Kane! Yay! Have loved him since Leverage and got to meet him just once, several years ago when he played a concert in downstate Illinois. I want to have him sign my photo with him from that night. And I'm keeping my fingers crossed that perhaps he'll have a concert while he's here, too.

Is it August yet??

From what I've seen on tumblr, Sebastian is fantastic at cons! He really seems to like meeting fans and taking photos with them :D

I guess David and Gillian have signed that cover countless times in the past. I wonder how he'll react when you present it to him now.

Oh yay, that’s great to know about Sebastian. He just looks like a really nice, funny, laid back guy. I will definitely be getting my picture taken with him.

I never thought I’d have the opportunity to meet David after so long. I have to tell him that I chose my Agt Spooky name because of Mulder! And I’m thinking I need to take a pic of my license plate and show him since its: SPOOKY 4. I think he’d get a kick out of that. :-)

Even better news is that just last night the con announced that both Mitch Pileggi and William B. Davis will be there, too! Wow!

When I gave the RS cover to Gillian to sign she got a really good chuckle out of it. I imagine I’ll get the same reaction out of David. :-) It’s one of my prized possessions and even more so now that I have Gillian’s autograph on it. I’ll have to seal it up behind glass after I get David’s! LOL!

OMG!!!!! DD doing a con!!!!! Never thought that would happen (apart from SDCC when promoting XF, of course) as I distinctly recall him saying in an interview a long time ago (when XF was still on the air, I think) that if he ever did turn up at a con, then would someone please shoot him!!! as that meant his career would be pretty much over. Don't think he had a very high opinion of them at the time!!

I wonder what has happened to change his mind??

He is still on my dream Con guest actor wishlist that I would travel ANYWHERE in Australia to meet, now that I've met Jared and Jensen, he's #2 behind only David Tennant. So wish I could afford to travel to Chicago to see him but unless I win the lottery, that ain't happening.

Have a marvellous time, give him the biggest squishy hug (if allowed, of course) and please let us know how it goes. I love that RS cover and think it's an awesome piece of memorabilia to get signed, esp as you already have GA's signature.

I know! You could’ve knocked me over with a feather when I saw David’s name listed. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him appear at a con before. Other than ComicCon this past summer out in San Diego to promote the new XF. Even back when XF was on the air originally I went to all sorts of XF cons and he was never there.

Really happy for you. Know how much you like David. I met Christian Kane at a con a few years back when he was on Angel. He had let his hair grow out and was promoting a band. Very nice guy.

You got to meet Christian, too! Great! He really is a nice guy. I had a very nice chat with him. Told him I’d been a fan of his since Rescue 77 and he stood up and gave me this big hug! Have you ever seen him perform with his band Kane? I got to see him once and he’s an excellent singer.

That’s great that they showed season 10 in France. :-) It was so fabulous to see Mulder and Scully back together again. Love those two! I’ve got my fingers crossed that we’ll get a season 11.
