Because SPN is now on Tuesday, there aren't that many ratings to report. So on Wednesday I'll post just SPN's numbers, then on Saturday morning I will post the full week of CW shows so everyone can see how SPN did compared to everything else.

Why is SPN pre-empted so frequently in Chicago?

Because they have grudges against SPN for not shooting the spin-off in their city.

Hee! Love the idea that it’s because of the horrible spin-off attempt. :-)

But no, it’s because our CW is not a dedicated station/channel here. We share it with our local WGN station. So whenever there is a Chicago sports game or a special program (like the state of the union address), WGN overrides all of the CW programming. And we end up seeing all of the CW shows days later at like 1:00 am on a Saturday. I’ve lost count over the years how many times this has happened to SPN.

I can't even pick up a CW affiliate here. I watch it the next day on Hulu.

I could get cable, but it costs too much.

Until recently, we didn't even have cable in this area. Both cable and internet service are through the phone co-op. We have fiber to the home now, along with good download speeds. I'm grateful because it's a rarity in rural areas.
