ASK ME ANYTHING - Day Two - vyperdd asks - You can invite 5 people, living or dead, real or fictional to a dinner party. Who do you invite and what would you serve???

Ooh, that would be Sherlock Holmes, artist MC Escher, Ewan McGregor, Han Solo and Dean Winchester.

Hmmm…with that manly group it's gotta be meat - BBQ ribs, burgers, steak. Baked potatoes or fries. Perhaps a veggie or salad for something green. Oh and PIE! :-)

I have to ask, Barb -- why Ewan McGregor? Don't get me wrong -- I love him, but what about him puts him this high on your list, with the likes of Han Solo, Dean Winchester, Sherlock and Escher and before others that I would have guessed would be further up your list, like Fox Mulder or Blair Sandburg? Just really curious.

First, man, this was such a hard question for me. Only five people?? Living or dead or fictional? Yikes!

I really admire Ewan. He's such a talented actor and so intelligent and good hearted. I learned so much about him watching those two documentaries (Long Way Down and Long Way Round and reading his book) and I would love to be able to sit down with him and have a long conversation. And ask him to sing for me. :-)

Though I have to admit, Mulder and Blair were both runners up!
