I'm outta here right after work this afternoon, off to attend the GayRomLit writer's convention through Sunday.

This will be my first official outing at a conference as a writer and I'm nervous as hell that no one will come up to my table at the book signing! So keep your fingers crossed for me that everything goes well.

I'm most excited to be hanging out with my good friend and talented writer gina_stormgrant who is traveling down from Toronto to Chicago for the event. Our buddy charityflint is not attending the event but is meeting up with us tonight for dinner and then we're all heading to my place to watch Supernatural together. Poor John. The house is about to be invaded by fangirls! LOL! Then I got permission for Gina to attend my police academy class with me on Wednesday night, which should be lots of fun.

I'm looking forward to meeting a bunch of new Facebook friends and attend all of the workshops and panels at the conference and hopefully make some new contacts and sell some books.

So you guys have a great rest of the week and weekend and I'll see you all back here on Monday!
