I also started it for Seth, but that horrible beard hides his pretty face :/ Weirdly enough, I don't care that much for his character unless he has scenes with John Alden (played by Shane West, the eye candy^^).
The show itself is a mixture of fantasy and horror, but if you watched the earlier seasons of Supernatural, there shouldn't be anything you can't handle. I'm also happy that they don't exaggerate the nudity. What's interesting is that you often don't know if you should side with the witches or the others, at least that's how I feel. I also like the mythology and I honestly like the show more than I thought I would. The historical setting + fantasy did not sound like something I'd usually watch (which is why I've never tried to watch Game of Thrones), but at the end of every episode I want to know what happens next.
