Thank you! After consulting a “specialist” aka my best friend’s husband who is a FB fanatic, I understand everything now. Personal pages like mine can only do friend requests. Business and Group pages have the Like button.
I actually tried making a fan page first and it didn’t work out at all. It wouldn’t let me do anything as my Jamie Lynn persona on anyone else’s pages. I couldn’t Like, I couldn’t Friend, I couldn’t comment. I could only post on my own page. After tearing my hair out for days I just made an entirely new account which is now working out great.
