Timey-wimey and all that stuff

So I finally saw my first Doctor Who episode with Rose and the Tenth Doctor. Yay!

For some reason BBCA was stuck on endlessly repeating all the episodes with Martha and about a half dozen episodes with Donna. This week they finally started showing the ones with Rose. I was hoping that they'd actually go back to the beginning, with the Ninth Doctor. I've only seen one ep with Eccelston, the one where John Barrowman is introduced as Captain Jack Harkness. Wonder if BBCA will ever show those.

Anyway, Rose is great and Billie and David Tennant have wonderful chemistry together. I like her as much as Martha. Really looking forward to finding out exactly what happened with Rose and the Doctor, how they got separated. From what I've been able to gather from the Martha and Donna episodes it was pretty traumatic and it seems that the Doctor has never really gotten over losing her.

Do I have any other fellow Whovian's on my flist? I'm only 50 years late to the party, but I made it! LOL!

I watched it as a child from behind the sofa, but now I've mostly passed the torch to my sons who are fanatical Whovians. Of the modern doctors, I have to say I did love Tennant.

A very good friend of mine had watched it since he was a kid, too, and he tried over and over to get me hooked on it and it just never stuck. If it hadn’t been for me falling head over heels for Tennant in Broadchurch I probably still wouldn’t be watching. But I just had to check out his episodes after Broadchurch and now here I am!

I’ve seen just a few of Matt Smith’s eps and he just does nothing for me. I do believe the Tenth Doctor is my Doctor. :-)
