Cats gone wild!

agt_spookyIt was a weekend full of kitty cat mischief. I don't know what got into Mandy and Bean on Saturday and Sunday, but it gave me plenty of photo opportunities!
I have finally figured out how to get the two of them right next to one another with no hissing, growling or fighting - break out the iPad! I was trying to play Angry Birds, but Mandy was having none of it. She kept whacking at the screen, trying to smoosh my Luke Skywalker bird. Grrr…. So I finally gave up and turned on one of her cat games where she tries to catch a mouse. Well the mouse squeaks when her paw hits it. After several squeaks it drew the attention of Bean, who hopped up right next to Mandy. I thought the fur was going to fly but they just sat there, side by side! Bean had never seen the iPad games before, so she watched Mandy for a long while before giving it a shot herself. She didn't do half bad! She likes the fish game the best. I was just amazed at how long they sat there next to each other!
Bean must have decided she loved all things technology after that as John discovered when he tried working on the desktop computer in the den:
She obviously didn't want ME to feel left out as she came downstairs a bit later and thought I'd apparently been watching TV long enough. See all the static on the screen? See where her little kitty paws are? Yep, the little stinker turned off the cable box on me! Right in the middle of Copper!
