Ah here we are, another Monday. But I can't complain too much. My boss is off this whole week on vacation and one of my most hated co-workers didn't come in today. So it's a good start to the week!

How was everyone's weekend? Do anything fun?

My Saturday was kind of boring. Watched some TV, started reading one of the books I picked up on Friday, worked a bit in the flower beds, took a nap. :-)

John and I went out to my comic book store on Sunday then had a really nice lunch at Sweet Tomatoes, an all-you-can-eat soup, salad and pasta place. Yum! Did some grocery shopping at Whole Foods and spent way too much money there (but lamb burgers and lobster mac'n'cheese FTW!).

But the most exciting thing was getting this newsletter in the mail from AT&T. We have their U-Verse cable and internet. One of the articles was on different apps for your iPhone that tie in with your cable service. One in particular caught my eye - Twonky Beam. Stupid name, I know. It works with your U-Verse cable box to stream videos from places like YouTube, Daily Motion, Viemo, CNN, etc. directly from your phone to your TV set. And the app is free! So I gave it a shot and tried it out with YouTube and it worked brilliantly!

Then I really got excited. While searching for links to the last season of Inspector George Gently (starring Martin Shaw) I came across a YouTube channel that had all five seasons of another show Martin was in…The Professionals:

See, I own all five seasons of Pros on DVD, but they're all Region 2. My region free DVD player up and died on me over a year ago so I thought I'd never get to watch Bodie and Doyle again. I LOVED this show. The slash quotient between the guys was freaking off the chart!

But now, thanks to Twonky Beam and YouTube, I've got all five seasons again! I beam the video from my phone to my TV and then use my DVD recorder to burn discs, all of them now in Region 1. WOOT! I was bouncing around last night doing the dance of joy. :-) Sometimes it's the little things, you know?

I watched several eps of season one last night and I'm loving the trip down memory lane with these guys. Made me fall in love with them, and the show, all over again. Now I'm in the mood for some smokin' hot B/D fic….
