Gone, but never forgotten

It was one year ago today that we lost our beloved Chloe. It's still kind of hard to comprehend she's gone, even after all this time. We still feel her loss keenly and I've been holding back the tears today. But I try and console myself with the knowledge that she gave us 15 wonderful years and that she loved us as much as we loved her.

I can so relate, I lost my hellion(kitty) two years ago, she was 11 and I still tear up when I think of her. She was a terror, she let no one pet her except for me. and she would hiss and scratched anyone who got to close to her :)

Losing a pet is one of the hardest things in the world. :-( It’s been 10 years since we lost Mac and I think of her often as well. They’re like our children, you know? Tempermental as they may be, like your hellion *g* we love them dearly.

See, the thing is, I think she doesn´t sleep right now. In my belief she´s having major fun "up there" with your other passed away pets and happily waiting for you to walk over the rainbow bridge yourself, so that you all are reunited again.
