They say it's your birthday!

I might be turning another year older today, but instead I'd like to look backwards many, many years to when I was just a kid. If you were a child of the 80's like I was, you probably at one point had your birthday party at Showbiz Pizza. It was THE place to go - pizza, ice cream, cake, video games, arcade games but most importantly, The Rock-afire Explosion band! The band was made up of all of these huge animatronic animals that moved and sang. They were awesome! My favorite was Fatz, the giant gorilla. If you had your party there, they announced your name and sang you the Birthday Song. As a 9 year-old that was pretty freaking cool! LOL! I don't know what got me thinking about this the other day, but lo and behold, I actually found a video of it on YouTube!

So there was my nostalgic trip down memory lane for my birthday today. :-)  Now I'm off to work with my Milky Way cake! Is it break time yet? Can I eat it yet? Can I, can I? Bring on the party!
