Friends can always make you smile

My good friend at work knew I was going to have a horrible day today (due to a lot of factors) and she surprised me by stopping at my favorite bakery and bringing me a giant smiley face sugar cookie. Awww! I told her I wasn't going to eat it until the end of the day, but keep it on my desk so I could look at it and smile back. :-)

This was also an excuse to use my new Tenderheart Bear icon. I absolutely loved the Care Bears when I was a kid, and Tenderheart happened to be my favorite. Had the stuffed animal that I took everywhere with me. In the new TV Guide there was this article about how they're bringing the Care Bears back to television with a new animated show, and the photo they showed was Tenderheart here. Talk about a long way from the old cartoon! Looks great, though.
