At last - a sneak peek of Jensen's voice in the SPN anime

The last episodes of the Supernatural anime are about to be released in Japan, and we finally get Jensen's voice over work in All Hell Breaks Loose, parts 1 and 2.

Here's a sneak peek!

Eeeee! I love it when Dean yells out "Sammy!".  While Andrew Farrar did a wonderful job dubbing all of the previous episodes, NOW it really feels like Supernatural with Jared and Jensen together again. :-)

Personally, I've been very impressed with the anime and I'm looking forward to buying the actual DVDs when they're released in the U.S. in July.

Oooh, that does sound good! I haven't watched more than clips of the anime yet...my poor old computer is getting cranky and full...so I haven't really been able to listen to Andrew Farrar for any length of time. But Jensen IS Dean, so...

I liked that they kept that in there from the original episode, about him wanting the extra onions. Too bad we also didn’t get to hear him yell to Sam, “Bring me some pie!” right after that. :-)

I kept telling myself that I could wait until the set came out this summer, but I was too curious and gave in and downloaded them all. :-)

Jared did all 22 episodes, but Jensen only did the last 2. :-( But the actor dubbing Dean’s voice for the other 20 did a good job, IMO.

i love this. can't wait til july. one question. after sam disappears, what is the red glowing thing dean is looking at in the window? i can see sam's laptop but i just can't figure it out. just looks like a weird blob to me.

I'm not a fan. After watching the original voice actor for the entirety of the season, it threw me off completely hearing Jensen's voice. Shame he was too busy with other things to do the voice work for his own character, but at least we have Jared as Sam :)

After having listened to Andrew for 20 episodes and then now Jensen, I was struck with how well Andrew did matching Dean’s voice. He had big shoes to fill and I think he did a great job.

I wish we’d find out why Jensen only did two episodes. Dean’s my favorite character, so I was very disappointed.

I watched the first 5 or 4 episodes, but I didn't like Dean without Jensen's voice, so I just stopped, and I didn't like the first episode cause I watched with the japanese audio :P.

But, now that is going to be Jensen's voice I totally going to watch it.

BTW do you know why Jensen didn't do the voice of Dean and Jared did it, cause they have the same workload, or maybe this was when he was doing the voice for "tron"......

I think he had a clause in his Tron agreement about doing other voice actings in the same timeslot, that might be it, he may be forbidden even though SPN came first.

Jensen is spot on, but Jared's voice work always threw me off. I guess because his voice changed and he can't really be 'young Sammy' anymore. I do enjoy the Sub over Jap. dialogue though!

I thought the same thing when I heard the very first ep of the anime - that the animated version of Sam from season one doesn’t match Jared’s voice any longer. Ah, how the boys have grown! :-)

AAH! So good to finally hear Jensen's voice where Jensen's voice should be. And the episode looks really cool too. I'm totally buying the DVDs when they come out, despite the lack of Jensen overall. I'm not one for anime but I'll be making the exception. :)

Kidding me!!!! It scene looks great!!!! that part when Sam is being wrapped by that black smog!!! It definitely caught my atenttion, but something with the dean's sync between his lips and voice was kind of strange. And it was very rare hear the two guys on the anime. But, I think still Jensen has a loooong way to walk in that thing of dubb, something on it sounds artifcial. Of course Jared too, but Jensen has a good voice to do that.

Anyway, sorry if you see many grammar mistakes but on explorer I don't have dicciontary and I don't know when I am writing bad something and I have looking it on the page but looks like that it does not have! :S

It’s the same with Sam’s off and on throughout all of the other episodes. Apparently they just had Jared (and Jensen) record the dialogue without looking at the actual anime, so sometimes their words don’t match the way the mouths are moving.
