There should really always be three day weekends so we could just skip right over Monday. :-)
I was really hot here too and I stayed outside most of the time walking, sitting up the park and near a local river. I don't normally like hot weather but it was good
That sounds nice! Wish we had a river around here to go sit at. If the humidity wasn't so high it would be nice to be outside, but when you sweat just standing still it's not very pleasant. *g*
I think as long as you take care of the most important stuff first and then tackle the rest at your own pace, people will understand.
It's usually not this crazy, thankfully. Everyone just decided to be creative all at once! :-)
