I said "Metamorphosis" because there was a lot of amazing acting going on, on behalf of J2. When Dean busts in on Sam and confronts him about his powers, when he hits Sam...omg. The nasty gore parts aside, emotionally it was such a raw episode, sprinkled with moments of tension-relieving humor that had me cooing once again my undying love for Kim Manners.
And they are playing allll of this in a way that is SO not brotherly but instead comes off heavily as lovers/married couple -- I didn't need my slash-colored glasses AT ALL through this ep! :)
