there are no proper words to truly tell you how much I loved this, but I'll do my best to try anyway ;)
I loved the setting you gave us, how Jared was being affected by people remarking on his and Sandy's breakup, and how Jensen felt guilty that he wasn't there by his side when it all went down. the reveal that Jared and Jensen had been having an affair, and that Jared did not tell Sandy about it. the latter just because it totally seems like something Jared would do, to protect her as it were. I adore how Jensen and Jared just realized one day that what they had meant more than just fucking, and it was with that realization that Jared knew he had to end it with Sandy.
I love the cabin, and the relaxed atmosphere. how Jared had all those firsts with Mitch, but he and Jensen still found their own firsts with each other.
I also adored this part:
I will never get enough of the feel of his body. Hard and strong, with miles of smooth, soft skin that I have touched every inch of. My hand goes to automatically rest on his chest, over his heart, just like in countless publicity pictures of us. It was like from day one I was unconsciously saying, “Mine”. And now he is.
that whole thing puts me in my happy place. I'm totally addicted to the pictures that have Jensen's hand on Jared's chest. it really is like he's saying mine, and I think you captured that feeling wonderfully ;)
the sex was ten kinds of hot! I love it when Jared bottoms, and when Jensen calls him "baby". oh man just the thought of that word in that naturally husky voice of his.. yeah that's definitely sexy ;D
the imagery you had of the rain washing away their pain and letting them start new was just beautiful. and the whole wonderful fic was wrapped up so perfectly with the two of them on the dock with yet another first: skinny dipping! more sexy imagery ;D
as you can tell from my long review, I adore this story so very much. it's the perfect pace, it's full of emotion that both broke me and had me smiling like a loon (and drooling at certain parts), and is totally canon for me in a fanon type of way. I insist!

oh! and I also love the sidebar you have on your journal with the many pretty pictures of Jensen and Jared. I was destracted by them a few times and it was awesome ;D
