I enjoyed the movie a lot. I thought that story was good, though I agree with you that the story didn't have an XF feeling to it. But I did like it.
It was good to see Mulder and Scully again. I felt that they stayed true to the characters and they still had the same chemistry.
I was pleasantly surprised that Nicki Aycox had such a big role for someone who is credited as 'victim #2'. I loved her in SPN and it was good to see her in something else. I'm looking forward to meeting her in September.
Another movie in a few years would be very welcome.
