What's your favorite Monster of the Week from Season 1?

So I was watching a couple of Supernatural eps last night and I got to thinking about all the monsters/ghosts/creatures the boys have encountered over the years and was wondering what everyone's favorite was.

Let's start with season one, shall we?

I chose the Shapeshifter from Skin, cause Evil!Dean is totally hot.

My choice has NOTHING to do with Jensen stripping in the sewer, I swear...

I had to pick the shapeshifter because it's truly creepy to me that this thing can become anyone you know. (And this was the ep that broke my SPN cherry, of course.) AND that Jensen's marvelous acting made me a little sorry for the 'shifter. AND 'In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida,', which, hands down, is for me the king of wtf rock songs ever written!

But I almost picked the Benders. I kept thinking about it while I watched "Countrycide" from Torchwood, which is almost my absolute favorite; God bless those Brits, because it is such a balls-out, scary, bloody story, like one of SPN's best.

The YED is probably my favorite evil thing ever, but the scarecrow scared the living HELL out of me (partially because I have issues with scarecrows... long story).

I chose the Shapeshifter, because ever since I saw "Westworld" when I was little, it has always freaked me out to think that the people around me might not really be people!!!!

Also, his little speech to Rebecca, about just wanting someone to love him, broke my heart.

She is my favourite because she was funny and downright scary and had some good lines.
I think Niki Aycox gave it her all.

This was another tough one! I mean the whole Bloody Mary thing creeped and still creeps me out to the point I can't go into a dark bathroom, LOL! The Shapeshifter, Scarecrow, and Meg were all great too. But ultimately, I went with old Yellow Eyes... Demon!John and all :-)

Oh man, this is so HARD.

I absolutely LOVED Meg and the Y.E.D but I voted for the Y.E.D cause he's just too badass for words. \o/

S1 had THE BEST monsters.
