Very, very true. I have a fondness for the FD and have taken citizen fire academy classes, ridden along with the engine and gotten to know several firemen. It's crazy that they're paid so little for risking their lives for strangers every single day.
Yes, Emergency was an awesome show! I remember running home from school when I was just a kid to see Johnny and Roy.
Bosco was my favorite character on Third Watch. I loved he and Faith. I wish the FD storyline had been better developed, instead of only following Jimmy.
