this was an amazing read from beginning to end... well done! I'm terrified of fires (seen one first hand when I was very young), and the feeling and pace of this story during the fire scenes was very gripping. I don't watch any TV shows, but one of my favorite movies is Ladder 49. Have you ever seen it? Very gripping & angsty. Your story reminded me of it. =)
