The hubby was a busy bee while I was at work yesterday. Check out our little garden area he got all set up! I was quite impressed. :-)

You can't see it in this photo but he also put up our hummingbird feeder and the little guy has already been back this year! And he seems to be very happy that we have a bunch of flowers out there this summer and not just the feeder. :-)

My lilac bushes are also in full bloom. I think that's one of my very favorite smells in the whole world. With my migraines triggered by scents, it's a rare thing for me to enjoy a smell.

Monday is our Memorial Day holiday so most people at the office took today off for an extra day. It was like a ghost town! I decided to take Tuesday off instead. I'm bummed because I would normally already be up in Michigan at MediaWest but I couldn't go this year. :-(  I'm already missing my friends. Trying to come up with activities for John and I to do for the four days, but of course it's supposed to rain for three of them. Grrr….

My life continues to be consumed by my writing. It's absolutely exhausting having to market your book. It's more work than actually WRITING the book! Today is the last day of a huge blog/review tour for Broken Soldier. I've been stunned by the amazing reviews I've been getting with 5, 4.5 and 4 Stars. I was so nervous about this book so it thrills me to no end to realize now that I challenged myself and I won. :-)  I really want to thank all of you again for your support for all my writing endeavors. {{HUGS}}

Next week I hope to have a FREE READ up at my blog of a new 13k short story. Kind of a "test drive my writing before you buy" marketing campaign. I'll be sure to post the download links here for all of you, too. The title is "Love and Poison" just to whet your appetites. :-)

I guess that's all from me for now. For all of my U.S. friends, enjoy your holiday weekend, but take a moment to remember those who bravely served our country.
