Busy day yesterday. Work was kind of crazy but I had to leave on time because John and I wanted to go see the new Mission Impossible movie at the mall across the street from my office. Made it with 10 minutes to spare!
As we were walking down the hall to the theater there at the end was a poster for the new Star Wars movie! Woot! No images, just the SW logo and The Force Awakens. Is it December yet??
It's too bad that Tom Cruise is such a nut job in real life, because I love his movies. We both enjoyed Rogue Nation. Though I think I'd put Ghost Protocol just a notch above. Simon Pegg completely steals the entire movie. Was great to see Ving Rhames again but there wasn't enough Jeremy Renner. The stunts were out of control. I can't believe they let Cruise do all that himself! I have no doubt that Simon Pegg wasn't acting in the car chase scenes in Morocco. Those terrified expressions were very real, with Tom at the wheel! LOL!
Only saw one good preview - for the next James Bond film, Spectre. Is it true that this is the last one that Daniel Craig is doing? That would be a shame. He's fantastic.
After the movie we had to go to the health food store to pick up several things. Finished there and then had to go to Lowes to get a spare house key made to keep in the garage (after John locked us out of the house a week ago and I had to climb in through the living room window) and a few various other things.
Finally got home around 6:30 pm. I leave for work at 5:30 am so it was a long day for me.
Had a couple of nice surprises waiting in the mail for me to end the day with - a random $25 Visa gift card from AT&T, a Doctor Who book I'd ordered off Amazon and my Superman costume for a convention I'm going to in October.
Speaking of conventions, myself,
asyouleft and
charityflint are off to the Stargate convention Thursday afternoon/Friday morning where we'll be seeing
ailurophile6 again. Yay! Got my hair cut the other day so I'm good for my photos with Michael, Ben, Paul and Rainbow. :-)
Have a good one, guys!
