I took part in a food drive today at my local comic book store (that I've been shopping at for 10 years), which was sponsored in part by Chicago members of the 501st Legion and the special guest was famed Star Wars artist Dave Dorman.
If you donated canned goods you got an autograph from Dave and photos with the 501st. It was a lot of fun and a lot of food was collected for a good cause. I ended up with three autographs from Dave (who is a delightful man and very easy to talk to) and several photos with the 501st. And they wanted one of me with their own camera because the loved my Star Wars Christmas sweatshirt I was wearing!
