agt_spooky: (Chris Kane)
Are there any fellow Christian Kane fans here in the Chicago area?

Christian's new movie "50 to 1" is doing a cross country bus tour to different horse racing tracks, bringing along all the stars of the film. They're asking people to send them an email and tell them to come to your town.

There's a great track near me called Arlington Park (www.arlingtonpark.com/‎) that would be perfect for them to come to, so I've already sent them an email.

So if you're in the Chicago area and want to help get Christian here, please send them an email, too!

Here are the details:

Email your request to:

50 to 1 Movie Tour - First and Last Name, Town, State & Zip Code.

Easy as that!
agt_spooky: (Almost Human)
So FOX just canceled The X Factor, which now means there's a sudden open spot in their schedule. Hello Almost Human, season two?? Please?? Because with Bones back on Monday's that bumps the already renewed Sleepy Hollow into AH's current spot, leaving AH homeless and most likely canceled. Perhaps AH might still have some life left in it? [keeping fingers, toes and eyes crossed]

Figures, now that I stop watching SPN they're going to film here. Still, I've got nothing against Jensen & Jared, so I'd love to be an extra and maybe see them if they're here.

From the Chicago Tribune:

The CW announced last week that long running drama “Supernatural” is getting a spinoff. And unlike the original, which follows brothers Dean and Sam Winchester as they hunt ghosts and monsters all over the country, the spinoff, “Supernatural: Tribes” will take place in Chicago.

According to sources, the majority of the pilot episode will film in Vancouver, which is where the original "Supernatural" is filmed, but shooting will also take place for three or four days in Chicago in late-March.
