So my partners in crime (aka [livejournal.com profile] celtprincess13 and [livejournal.com profile] hollylyn1217) and I got to talking about our upcoming Portland trip (two weeks! woot!) and I said I wanted to make sure we remembered to take photos of each other and not just the beautiful scenery. That led to talk about photos being memories and thus the tagline to our trip was born - The "Let's Make a Memory" Job.

Next thing I know I'm being poked to put my graphic design skills to good use and come up with a logo, because we wanted to make t-shirts to commemorate our trip. In no time flat this is what I came up with...

So who cares that there's no Leverage convention. We're going to have a BLAST out there anyway. And who knows, we may just run into the Leverage crew out filming somewhere and end up with a convention anyway. :-)

The CW’s Fall Schedule: Sarah Michelle Gellar Back on Tuesdays, Nikita Makes Move

Annnnnd… the annual, whirlwind upfronts week begins winding down now with The CW’s announcement of its plan for the 2011-12 TV season.

The highlights: Sarah Michelle Gellar’s much-awaited return to television finds her on a very familiar night. Ringer will air 8/7c on Tuesdays, the same night Buffy the Vampire Slayer aired during its run on CW predecessor The WB.

As for The CW’s other scripted pick-ups, Hart of Dixie (starring The O.C.‘s Rachel Bilson) has been slotted for Mondays at 9 pm, following Gossip Girl, effectively creating a night of TV exec-produced by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage.

Similarly, The Secret Circle has predictably landed in the Thursdays-at-9 spot, after The Vampire Diaries — both shows are executive-produced by Kevin Williamson.

To make room for the newbies, 90210 is moving back to Tuesdays, airing before Ringer, while Nikita, as anticipated, will now kick ass on Fridays at 8 pm, leading into Supernatural. That means that Nikita will now air against NBC’s Chuck, while Supernatural will compete with Fox’s Fringe and the new NBC genre series Grimm.

One Tree Hill, though renewed for 13 episodes, will ride the pine until midseason, as will the new reality series The Frame and Re-Modeled.

All told, The CW’s fall plan looks like this; new series are in CAPS (click links for cast/details):

MONDAY
8 pm Gossip Girl
9 pm HART OF DIXIE

TUESDAY
8 pm 90210 [new time slot]
9 pm RINGER

WEDNESDAY
8 pm H8R
9 pm America’s Next Top Model

THURSDAY
8 pm The Vampire Diaries
9 pm THE SECRET CIRCLE

FRIDAY
8 pm Nikita [new time slot]
9 pm Supernatural

What do you guys think?? My favorite line:
"All they'll have is each other"

Like the last of the cowboy outlaws, whatever they face, they're not going down without a fight )

I was really pleased to read this interview with Sebastian. I'm a big fan of his and was thrilled when he was cast as Balthazar on Supernatural.

Exclusive: Sebastian Roche on Balthazar, ‘Titanic’ and the ‘Supernatural’ season finale

Cue the Carry On Wayward Son and the awesome montage, because another season finale of Supernatural is upon us. Tomorrow night brings a two-hour close to the sixth season — with a seventh already in the cards for the CW series — and finds Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) on the hunt for Crowley (Mark Sheppard) before he can find Purgatory.

One of Castiel’s other pals this year — and one of the best characters of the season — has been the decadent angel Balthazar, played by Sebastian Roche. (If you missed the brilliant episode where Balthazar went back in time to keep the Titanic from sinking simply because he hated Celine Dion’s My Heart Will Go On, check it out here.) I talked with Roche — a Paris-born TV veteran from General Hospital, Fringe and many other shows — today about what’s in store for him in the season-ender, so read below for our conversation and check out this exclusive clip from the finale featuring Dean, Crowley and one seriously heated phone conversation.

When I’m on set, I get along well with Jared and Jensen and everyone because they’re so much fun to be around and we all have a pretty good sense of humor. )
