No, Mom, you can't change the channel

So I had to share this adorable pic of one of my furry, four-legged children, Chloe.

I was laying on my bed Friday night watching Psych when Chloe jumped up next to me and promptly laid down and fell asleep. I went to grab the remote to change the channel when I discovered that Chloe had claimed it as her own...




I was so glad I had my iPhone on my nightstand so I could grab it and take a pic of my funny little baby. :-)

I hope everyone had a nice weekend. With the exception of the wine and chocolate tasting party I talked about yesterday, I pretty much relaxed around the house. Got caught up on some TV shows, read another book, took a nap, watched some of the Olympics.

I'm horribly, horribly behind on answering back comments, because I've just been focused on finishing my epic Jensen/Jared police AU story. And the end is near!! I'll be finished tomorrow! SQUEE!! Final word count looks like it'll be around 45,000. That still just blows my mind.

My ebook makes the Top 10!

Evening, everyone!

Back last month I posted that my ebook, Where There's Smoke, was up for two awards - Best Mainstream Novel of 2009 and Best Thriller of 2009. The results are finally in and I'm thrilled to announce that I did very well!

In the Best Mainstream category I came in 8th out of 63.

In the Best Thriller category I came in 10th out of 53.

To me, what's really important is that in the Thriller category I was the ONLY male/male book in the top ten, and in the Mainstream category I was one of only two male/male romances.
