So today has started off better than yesterday did, thank god.

I'd forgotten to mention in my post yesterday that I'd had some pretty horrible dreams that night, which is extremely odd for me. I rarely have nightmares, so when I dreamt I was trapped underground, flat on my back in this little dirt tunnel and was running out of air - yeah, it left me feeling really off kilter.

And then all the construction started on top of me feeling out of whack as it was. Plus I've been waiting nervously for several days for an email with feedback on a big project I've been working on. My husband called me during the day to say the email had arrived, so I was antsy on top of that too, wanting to get home and read it. My head started pounding from the drilling in the warehouse so I took one of those Crystal Light energy packets that's full of caffeine, hoping to calm my impending headache. It helped the headache, but left me feeling twitchy (since I don't drink coffee or soda or anything with caffeine, really).

By the time I left work I felt like I was crawling out of my skin. I attacked the email first and found out that I need to do some revisions on the project. Wasn't nearly as bad as I was fearing, so that calmed me down a little. But for the rest of the night I just felt...odd, not myself.

I tried reading some fanfic, but couldn't concentrate, so I gave up and stuck in the first disc of SPN season 1 and chose one of my favorites, Dead in the Water. I really love that episode. It gave us our first glimpse into the soft heart behind Dean's external armor, as he dealt so wonderfully with Lucas, and we see the pain of Mary's death haunts him still. Kudos for a great performance, Jensen!

(Speaking of Jensen, how freaking AWESOME is that trailer for Ten Inch Hero that's on YouTube?? God! Jensen must steal every single scene he's in, based on the clips in the trailer. I want to see that movie so bad I can't even tell you! Argh! Find a distributor or put the blasted thing on DVD! Please!)

I actually felt much better after that, before I went to bed, and I didn't have any unpleasant dreams last night. Then my boss didn't come in today and the construction has moved past my office now. And I also put up my new Supernatural 2008 calendar in my cubicle and finished the outline for my Wincest story.

So yeah, it's been a MUCH better day! :-)
