Look at all the pressies!

So yesterday at work was a day of gift giving and holiday songs and food. Not a bad combination!

We exchanged gifts with the folks in my department first, yesterday morning, and I got some nice things. From my boss I got a coffee mug with two packets of hot cocoa in it (since he knows I don't drink coffee), personalized notcards with my name and also a wooden pen with my name on it. From the other gals I got a reed diffuser (which I'd never even heard of before) with a buttercream vanilla scent, a beautiful hand carved wooden ornament and the best one - a Santa Yoda snowglobe! LOL! It's totally awesome - shaped like a sleigh with the snowglobe inside it, with Yoda and a sack of gifts and it plays "Let it Snow", too! Ha!

Later I went out to lunch with my three best friends here and we did our gift exchange at the restaurant, which was nice. My buddy Andrew gave me a totally adorable Jedi Mickey Mouse plush toy that I just love. He's so cute! He's got this really soft brown Jedi robe on and a little tunic and he's even holding a lightsaber. :-) From my other two friends I got a really cute pair of pajamas and soft, fuzzy slipper socks and gift cards to Best Buy and Barnes and Noble. Yay!

And now today is going to be very, very boring. All of the celebrations here at work are over and so many people are taking today off, the place is going to be like a ghost town. I chose to take the day after Christmas off instead of today, so I've just got to get through the next seven hours and I've got five days off. Woot!

Today is also payday, but more importantly, we get our quarterly bonus AND our Visa gift cards as our Christmas gift from the company. :-)

Tomorrow is Phantom of the Opera with my best buddy charityflint and I just can't wait! Squee! What a great way to start off my Christmas holiday. :-)

I watched A Very Supernatural Christmas again last night and laughed and got teary-eyed all over again. Kudos to a great episode and Merry Christmas, Sam and Dean!
