Jensen quotes from Cult Times
Jun. 20th, 2007 07:28 amI got my copy of the June 2007 Cult Times magazine in the mail yesterday, with the four page article/interview with Jensen Ackles and I wanted to share two quotes from him that I thought were really good, one about Jared and the other about Sam and Dean.
First up, Jensen on Jared, when asked if at this point in time, he and Jared are best friends or mortal enemies:
"I can't stand the kid," Ackles jokes. "No, that's one of the most fortunate things about this show, the relationship between Jared and I. We get along like brothers and best friends on set and off set, and I think that has only helped the show. He's a good kid. I'm proud to be working with him. I think that as an actor he has come miles from where he was. Not to say that he wasn't any good in the beginning, because he's definitely been putting in a great performance from the get-go, but just watching him grow as an actor and seeing him where he is now, I'm proud of him."
Awww, Jensen! Geez, my love for these two boys knows no bounds. :-)
And then Jensen on Sam and Dean's relationship:
"Sam is basically his lifeline, and I think that if you cut Sam out he wouldn't last much longer."
I really liked to hear Jensen say that, because I truly, truly believe that to be true.
Anyway, it was a good article with some nice pictures and I just wanted to share a bit of it. :-)
