Okay....random

So how 'bout a bit of randomness today?

I was gifted with an awesome, beautiful, bring tears to your eyes ficlet yesterday by mickeym, all because I made an icon for her. Isn't she the best?? You all need to head over to her LJ and read And We'll Ride Into the Sunset. I gave her two prompts - schmoop and sunset and she accomplished both marvelously.

I read this morning on TV Guide's website that Jeffrey Dean Morgan is going to be back on Grey's Anatomy on April 12th, to host their "clip show". I was delighted to read that it's not just a voice over. He'll actually be on screen, doing the hosting. Yay for Denny!

But the big question is - will Daddy Winchester be returning??? JDM was quite coy in his answer, which was basically, "I can't tell you." :-)

I sent emails out to the three people who I won in the Sweet Charity auction and I've heard back from two of them already.

Can't tell you how excited I am to be getting a fic from tempestquill and a brand spankin' new LJ layout from Shona. Whoo-hoo!


As for my own offering in the Sweet Charity auction, purelyironic has given me a great list of her "likes" for the RPS fic she's chosen for me to write. Plot bunnies are beginning to dance around in my head and I'm eager to capture one and start writing. :-)

Hmmm....I think that's pretty much it for right now. The hubby is over at the townhouse painting this morning and I'll join him after work. And my boss is gone until Monday (yay!).

What's that high pitched noise? And why are people running out of the buidling?

Ok, having the fire alarm go off at work and having to evacuate the building when you're in the middle of eating lunch and are not allowed to get to your desk to grab your jacket when it's freezing and raining outside IS NOT MY IDEA OF FUN!

Something went nuts with our heating/air conditioning unit in the building and there was smoke and stuff so the alarms went off. You should have seen us all in the lunchroom - we're looking at each other, then at the crappy weather outside and no one moved! LOL! We're like, "this isn't for real, right?"

But then people started pouring out of the building and yeah, then we knew we had to leave. Got to watch the fire trucks roll into the parking lot as I stood there and shivered and got rained on. I swear it seemed like we were out there for an hour before they let us back in the building.

So now I'm back at my desk, wet and cranky. Hmph.
