Got my tickets to Fangoria!!

I'M GOING TO BE SEEING JARED PADALECKI IN JUST 40 DAYS! SQUEE!

Ok, now that I got that out of my system. :-)

Myself and charityflint got our Silver package tickets to the Fangoria convention that Jared is attending here in Chicago next month. Paid through the freaking nose for them, too, once we added on additional autograph tickets (got yours, alli_everyday!) and of course tickets to get our picture taken with him (SQUEE!) and the $56.00 freaking dollars in shipping and handling to mail me two admission tickets and email me the tickets for the autographs and photos. That is such a crock of shit. They added on $7.00 to every single item for shipping!

Man, I swore I'd never go back to a Creation Con after the disaster the SG1 con was here many years ago. Creation treats the fans like crap, runs their cons like crap and charges absolutely ridiculous prices.

Only for you, Jared. Only for you.  :-)

I did read at the fangoria_07 community that Chris Kane will only be there for his panel and then he's gone. No autographs or pictures. Doesn't bother me, but I'm sure there are going to be a lot of ticked off people who were excited that both he and Jared were going to be there.

So yeah, I'm ready to go and hopefully I won't make a complete fool out of myself when I meet Jared and like drool on him or something. :-)

Someone MUST show this to Eric Kripke, what with him always saying that Sam is Luke and Dean is Han.  But in this case Sam is Anakin and Dean is Obi-Wan and Missouri is...Yoda.

Supernatural RPS fic: Touched by Darkness (Jensen/Jared)

Ok, I'm a complete and total moron. Much earlier today I posted to my LJ my RPS story, Touched by Darkness, that I've been talking about, that I've been working on for the past several weeks. LJ always gives me fits when I post long stuff like this, so I keep the security set to Private until I know everything looks right. Sure enough, LJ hated me this afternoon and it took me forever to get everything formatted.

But once I had everything looking the way I wanted...I forgot to set the security to Public so everyone could actually SEE it! D'oh!  I just figured that out right now. And now that I've made several other posts after the story, I'm afraid it may get lost amongst my flist readers.
