I'm getting my own Sentinel zine!

Thought I'd take a moment here to share my excitement with you guys. There's going to be a zine published of my Sentinel stories!

My friend Wendy approached me last year about doing one and we've slowly been getting it together and it should [fingers crossed] be published and for sale at Media West in May.

The zine will be an anthology of my longer TS stories that have appeared on Senad over the years.

One of the most exciting parts about the zine is that the immensely talented Lorraine Brevig has drawn the cover for me! I was just blown away that she would want to do this for me. She just sent me a .jpg of the cover, and it's down below. Gorgeous, isn't it?

Still need to put the text on it, etc. but the name of the zine is Sense of Discovery. I chose that because as it turns out, 90% of the stories that I selected were first time stories. So Jim and Blair discovering each other...you get the idea. :-)

Anyway, just wanted to share!

A blast from the past - my first Sentinel fic

So my giddy-ness over my upcoming zine had me looking back at some of the fic that I chose not to include. And one of them would be the very first piece of TS slash fic I wrote, back in like, 1997. (Any wonder why I didn't include it? LOL!)

Just for laughs, I thought I'd post it here. It took all of my willpower not to go back and edit it. :-)

But for a first effort it's not too bad. I'd like to think I've come a long way as a writer since then, though!
