The commercial's really stupid, but the clips of it actually seem pretty awesome. Especially this one, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Mo-Iv82QPg&mode=related&search=) lol. The clips actually look really good and funny. Though this comment has a good point:
It won't last long against House. The premise is funny for a movie, but as a weekly television series I suspect it'll wear thin.
I think that's pretty much right. Beyond the pilot, I don't see much conflict or character development possible, unless they, I don't know, create some good relationships between the main character and his friends (I do like his best friend). Or create a really good villain. They might have a good character arc in store for the main character (going from store clerk to super hero), but it's all about the execution. Still pretty mixed, but I'll probably check out the pilot and see.
It looks so different from Supernatural that Supernatural might be safe. I think it's just the bitterness I have for Dawn Ostroff that is causing the paranoia. -_-
