The only way I think I won't feel a general sense of 'eh' for this would be if we have Dean missing HIS Sammy and realising he's happier where he is

I totally agree with you about Alona and how they introduced Jo. They went about it the completely wrong way and that's why so many of us rebelled against her. But look at all the female characters that we have liked. So it can be done!
