ASK ME ANYTHING - Day Eighteen - [livejournal.com profile] cadia58 wants to know when I'm reborn what life am I going to choose and what do I want learn over that new lifespan?

Wow! Deep! :-) I actually do believe in reincarnation, though. I would choose the road not taken in this life (a career in science instead of art), to learn that I should have followed my dreams in this life. Or, you know…come back as a cat that was as loved and pampered as all of my girls were and live my life without a care in the world. :-)

I'm just catching up on these - fascinating.

I want to believe in reincarnation, because I've already told several folks when I come back, I'm coming back as a hermit! Hunkering down in a bunker in Montana or living off the land in a tiny house with no one to worry about but myself. That's the kind of year I've had. ;)

Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays!

Hey dearie, sorry for being so late - have been away for christmas...
So, this science thing seems to have a really strong pull. And I think it´s funny how you balance between this intellectually challenging engagement and this totally non-worrying concept of your next round on earth...LOL!
If you would have asked me that question you would have gotten an answer either too lengthy or too short, depending on the level of openness and deepness. But one scenario (for only in a better world without those horrible massacres) I´ll share here: being reborn as a female elephant - they live their whole life in the same strong, loving and caring family structure they were born into. That´s what I miss so much in this life - being free of fears and unsecurities, knowing where my forever-place in this world is. One of the key-words would be "trust".

The science thing? I think that would be great. If anyone had convinced me when I was in high school that math and science could actually be interesting, I might have paid more attention before it was too late. However, because I work at a large research university, I do get to brush shoulders with people who do fascinating stuff, and science is totally cool.

On my next go-round, I'd like to do work on my fantasy occupations: Broadway musical star, writer, secret agent, or contract killer. Since I'd come back multiple times, I could do these one at a time. :)
