Karl Urban at DragonCon!

Be still my beating heart! Karl Urban just signed on today to appear at DragonCon in Atlanta in August! This is now worth my entire price of admission to the convention. :-)  To say I'm getting a photo op with him is a given. SQUEE! Now we can only hope that they'll get Michael Ealy as well. [fingers crossed]  I'm sure Karl's autograph line will be insanely long, but I'm sure going to give it a shot, because I want to tell him how much I loved Almost Human.

He's really really lovely I met him last year at Supanova in Sydney and I can't speak highly enough of him.

Hehe his regular voice Im used to it being an Aussie that I work with or I have worked with Aussie's and Kiwi's but it's the way he says 6 or Six will sound a bit different

Hee! Then I've got to see this happen! Michael's been in other shows/movies so there might be a good chance they'll try and get him. I know he and Karl became such good friends. They'd be a great pair to get and have a panel with. Let's keep our fingers crossed!

Know you will enjoy meeting him. He is a doll and the only reason I went to Mega Con. Have a feeling Dragon Con is a lot like it in that there are thousands of people and lines for everything. Longest I had to wait was for Karl's autograph, about 3 hours, but I really lucked out for his photo op as they scheduled it at the wrong time and I got there early and was able to purchase one and it wasn't even a 30 minute wait. Plus he had his arm around me and was so sweet. Can I keep him?

I remember your story from MegaCon and remember being totally jealous of you. :-) Can't believe I'm finally going to get a chance myself!

Yes, DragonCon has around 50,000 people. It can be total insanity at times but they really do their best to keep it organized when there are so many lines for so many different things. I have a feeling Karl's autograph line is going to be as long as it was at MegaCon. [sigh]

OMG, I'm going to melt on the spot when I get my picture taken with him! LOL!
