Doctor Who - break out the kleenex

Well I just watched Doomsday, the final episode of Doctor Who with Ten and Rose. Thank you all for warning me to have the kleenex handy. [sniff, sniff]

I'm glad that she's at least with her mom and Mickey and her (not)Dad and didn't get sucked into the parallel world by herself. At first I was so mad, because she and the Doctor didn't get to have a proper goodbye. So thank goodness there was that final scene, even if it ripped my heart out. The tears running down the Doctor's face, losing contact with Rose before he could tell her he loved her too….[sob]

I thought the entire moment was completely ruined by the immediate appearance of Donna, though. That just happened way too fast. I wanted it to end on a more melancholy, sad note with the Doctor just by himself in the TARDIS.

All in all that was a good season, though. I think my favorite episode was The Girl in the Fireplace. It was so sad!

Right now BBCA is running Martha's episodes again, then they'll get started with Donna's. I'm hoping my initial opinion of her changes for the better.
