Welcome back Dorian and Kennex!

Almost Human was finally on again last night after yet another three week break. With the way FOX is treating this show I'm no longer deluding myself that it's going to ever get renewed so I'm just going to enjoy these 13 episodes and be glad we even got this many. Doesn't mean that I'm not pissed, though.

Not too much with the funny last night with Dorian and Kennex besides the very beginning with the kids on the school field trip. Heh, heh.

Glad we finally got back to the missing/hidden evidence and what it all meant. But now we've got an even bigger mystery - what is The Wall and what's on the other side of it?

What did you guys think of Unbound?

Yeah, I kept saying through the whole episode, "What is so terrible on the other side of the wall??" They mentioned it early on in the show (I think) but we've never learned why the wall is there. I've read enough scifi and fanfic AUs to think that generally, the people inside the wall are either bad or deluded, and the good rebels are outside. Maybe this will be different?

Also, when someone mentioned that they had built a whole bunch of DRNs that were just left after the contract was awarded to another company, and then Nigel mentioned it AGAIN, I knew something was going on. He wants to continue his work!

These episodes are so wildly out of order I honestly couldn’t remember if they’d brought up The Wall before or not. It’s definitely got me intrigued! Like you said, are Dorian and Kennex the real good guys...or not?

I SO totally knew that Nigel was up to no good! I keep picturing a whole army of Dorian’s climbing over the wall. :-)

I, of course, liked this episode. So glad it was a new one last night. Talked with ann_tara about the possibility of it's renewal and she said one of the guys who prognosticates these things thought it had a chance. I sure hope so as I do like it a bunch. And one does wonder what John Laroquettes (misspelled) character is up-- to good or evil?

I’m wondering if we’re actually going to get to see the rest of these episodes all in a row or if FOX will pull it again for...whatever for 2 or 3 more weeks. [sigh]

That’s why I don’t give it any chance of renewal. It dropped 10 percent in the ratings this week because honestly, it’d been off for so long no one even remembered it was back on. And now Bones is back on Monday nights, which will push Sleepy Hollow into Almost Human’s spot next season. So unless they shuffle AH off to the graveyard of Friday nights it’s doomed. When the president of FOX won’t even talk about it at the winter TCA meetings, yet praises SH...the writing’s on the wall.

I’ll never understand why a network invests money in a pilot episode, picks up the show to series and then deliberately sabotages it so that it fails is beyond me.

I think

That the writers take so long in add more drama to the show. That thing of the wall, maybe there is where all the bad guys are, all those who are against the controlled robot world of the other side of the wall. Maybe, that is the prison of the city. That is interesting, but but left it until the very end of the show?

Well it’s actually not the writers fault in this case. ALL of the episodes of Almost Human are being shown completely out of order by FOX. So this episode should have been shown much earlier in the season and it would have made much more sense. I don’t know why FOX is doing this.
