New HUGE Supernatural spoiler

Morning, everyone. Here's a BIG spoiler from Kristin at E!Online and a poll about it behind the cut about it.

As for Supernatural, two fan favorites are going to die this season during this season, in the same episode Sam and Dean fight Lucifer.

[sigh] Honestly, I'm really getting tired of thinking about who's going to die on the TV shows that I love.

Anyway, I thought I'd do a poll to see who you think is going to die. There's no way Kristin would know about the season finale, so Sam and Dean must fight Lucifer toward our mid-season break, and it sounds like they lose the battle if two people die.

I've seen folks speculate about it not being Castiel or Bobby because both were in the future - we saw Cas and Bobby was in the picture with the "resistance fighters". But people, the minute that Dean hooked back up with Sam he changed the future! So Cas and Bobby are fair game. (Though Misha is a regular now, so I doubt it'll be him. But Jim on the other hand I worry about.)

I'm thinking it might not be Chuck, either, since Zac said if he killed himself the angels would just bring him back. My worry is that it's going to be Ellen, since we know that Samantha Ferris is coming back for another episode. And since Ellen is liked by 90% of the fandom, along with Bobby, those two are my predictions, since those kinds of characters are the ones that Eric loves to kill off. And I'll honestly be pissed if that happens, leaving Sam and Dean completely alone with no support system whatsoever. It's bad enough Bobby's in a wheelchair, so now let's kill him off because he can't be out running around helping the boys.

Or it could be Eric screwing with us and it turns out it's Sam and Dean who die, only to be brought back to life once again. Eric did say God would be playing a part this season, so....

Okay, enough of my speculation. Who do YOU think it is?

I thought Sam & Dean and somehow they are saved either by God or by both of them accepting their respective angel & devil. But that's just me, haha. But I really think if its NOT the boys then you're right it is at least Bobby. I hope its not both Ellen and Bobby because I would be SUPER SAD.

Several people picked Sam and Dean, so you're not alone in your thinking, and it would be like Kripke to mess with our heads like that, knowing we've got a month and a half of reruns after that. :-)

If it does turn out to be both Bobby and Ellen (as unfortunately they "won" the poll) I don't think I could ever forgive Eric. Grrrr.....

I can't see it being Bobby. (Wishful thinking?) The overarching theme of the show is family, and, AFAIK Bobby's character was pumped up when JDM wasn't available to step into the father role. So good to keep him?

I'm not all that worried since it's the kind of show on which the dead don't necessarily stay dead.

I'm afraid you're right. There's a school of writing that believes the best way to create conflict is to strip your hero(s) of everything. Give 'em stuff, then take it away. Give 'em people, then have them betrayed or abandoned.

Me? I can't bear to hurt my characters that much. (Although I did have Sam slash the hell out of his own wrists in the one little SPN story I wrote.)

It better not be Bobby, although I can see that at this point in the show and the boys' lives Kripke may feel it's time they stand on their own two feet..
I don't think it will be Castiel.
I thought possible Anna and maybe Jo.. I guess only time will tell..

And yeah, I think with Misha being a regular, he's safe. But Anna is a definite possibility if the angels get involved with the battle.

No idea. But "fan favorite"? When they couldn't get Jess for that episode last season, they got other "fan favorites." Ronald. Look, nothing against Ronald, but a fan favorite? Henricksen, yes. Meg, yes. Ronald, not so much. ;P

Ah, good point! Our definition of "fan favorite" can differ wildly from journalists. :-) You've given me hope that Bobby and Ellen will survive!

I only picked Bobby and Ellen because I like them so much and Eric has a penchant for killing off people I like. Then again, he could kill off Sam and Dean and make it the Bobby and Castiel show... who knows.

I fear it is going to be Bobby and Ellen, though I dearly hope not; I'd be happy if it was Zach and Anna (though I fear they are planning for her to do something 'special'). Castiel, no, Misha is now a regular and they have too much invested in his storyline and he's a major fan fav... Bobby they've already 'sidelined' a bit, so I hope that wasn't an omen or something - note that they did kill him off in that 'future'. It could be Rufus - since he essentially serves a bit of the same purpose as Bobby (only he isn't part of Sam and Dean's 'family'!! hee!)

I just hope they don't cut someone just for 'shock' value, only to realize later that that person (like a Bobby and Ellen) really add something to the show... and I have a very soft spot for Chuck... but since his 'archangel' was last seen trapped then maybe no one is around to protect him and I think even Zach has figured out that Chuck is on the side of the Winchesters and they have already been trapped once by that connection. I think they might keep Chuck if only because he is so utterly human and not 'hero' material... just some poor schmuck who has angels breathing down his brain.

Yeah, of most everyone I could live with those two getting bumped off. Or Rufus.

Yeah, I saw on Jim's twitter about him filming again, and it's episode 10, which is scary, because that's when those two characters are going to die!

It is suspicious

First. two charcters wil be die, but, there will be a demon cross road, then, it is a cliffhanger so... they can´t kill someone important and let it as a cliffhanger because it won´t be that if they kill them. but if there is a demon cross road, it means that someone have to come to life. but no one of the boys can die again, well they can but it could be soo repetitive so. maybe the two character could be ellen because she said that she will be fillmin middle octuber and maybe anna? and that´s it and the demon... that´s a mistery
