Another Supernatural season five casting spoiler

Supernatural Brings Back Meg

For those who’ve been wondering what happened to Meg, the sassy demon with a huge grudge against Supernatural’s Winchester brothers, she’s back! And Rachel Miner, the former Mrs. Macaulay Culkin, who got her start on Guiding Light and was most recently seen as a bisexual S&M practicing character on Californication, is playing the character, last seen in Season 2. “I’ve been wondering, what Meg’s doing out there,” creator Eric Kripke tells TV Guide Magazine exclusively. “I’ve been continually asking the writers, ‘Where’s Meg?” She’s would make a really formidable adversary. I got impatient and ended up writing her into my own script.” So far, Miner’s been signed for one episode.

So I guess that casting call for Meg we saw a week or so ago was indeed real!

But...that photo of Miner at TVGuide's site...she looks like she's twelve years old. Personally, I think she's got HUGE shoes to fill, because Nicki was AMAZING as Meg, and I'm not really sure I'm keen on another actress playing that character.

What do you guys think? Glad to see Meg back in another body, or should we have seen the last of Meg with Nicki?

Well, I actually put Meg in another body for my Big Bang, so I'm probably not the best one to ask lol. Of course, that's different because then I can picture her acting the way I want. Having another actress portray her, though? Hmmm...huge shoes to fill, indeed. I don't know that anyone will ever play her the way Nikki did, but I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt. The way I saee it, it has to be better than Ruby, right? ;)

I'm glad Meg will be back, but I know I'll miss Nikki..

i prefer nikki. but we will see. each season eric love to bring of news faces.

I don't really want to see Meg in another body. Nikki did great, and I thought Jared did a great Job of incorporating Nikki's performance into his own in BUABS. But another actress will want to make Meg 'her' character, not do an imitation of Nikki. It'll change Meg and I don't want to see it.

I liked Nicki, I would rather see her back.Why can't Meg possess a twin sister or something? Dammit.

We'll see what happens. Meg without Nicki playing her might not be the Meg we knew and loved/hated. I saw Rachel Miner many moons ago when she was on Guiding Light and playing the cute little girl. This will be an interesting part for her.

I think Niki was amazing too. I can't wait to see what Rachel brings to the character.

Why no put the same woman instead of another? I mean, I never liked Megahn I hate her, and I don´t like the performance of Niky but, what put another woman? let the same woman!

Oh good, it's only Meg. I see casting spoiler and am always so scared they found a way to bring back the skank. LOL.

well, you`re right about the shoe size...i never saw her in action, but i hope so much that she could do it.
i honestly wouldn`t be able to stand another demon who suddenly changed it`s personality how it happened with Ruby

My mom watches GL, and I used to catch it occasionally when I was visiting. She was a pretty good actress as a kid, and I think she went on to do some Broadway and off-Broadway plays. She does look young, but that could be a plus. (I think the most effective demon they had was the little blonde girl who played Lilith.)

Plus, she's pretty short, I think. They couldn't possibly try to have her be a love interest when the height difference is so big!

I preferred Lilith to be in a child's body. Both those girls did a great job. And it was extra creepy because she was a child. I couldn't stand the the actress who played the grown up version in the last few episodes.

Well, they can't have Nicki back, because her body died back in season one, after Sam and Dean exorcised her. So they had to pick a different woman to play Meg this time.

She was pretty good. I think she was part of the group that helped the one million dollar winner. She was so cute on there, and then when I saw her on Supernatural I was like don't mess with her!

Yeah the differences between Kaite's Ruby and Genevieve's Ruby was too drastic. Of course, I never trusted Ruby to begin with. Maybe Rachel will keep Meg close to what Nicki did with her. Depends how they write her this time.

I've only seen Rachel Miner on Californication. But I gotta tell you, she was pretty great there. I think she'll be really good as Meg, from what I saw there. :)

True, since Ruby reanimated a dead body, why can't the demon Meg? Good point! I bet they tried to get Nicki, but she's on that new show called Deep Blue, and I bet she wasn't available. Bad timing!

That part that Nicky was in another show I didn´t know it! Thank you for telling me! Maybe then, it was the the problem. Anyway. Hope this girl do a good job
