Just got my new TV Guide in the mail today and this was in the Letters column:

Ok, people, really? This is the second time that you've done a sexiest/hottest body type issue and have included Supernatural's Jared Padalecki but not Jensen Ackles. That boy is smokin' hot! Get it right next time!

OMG! Someone picked Padalecki over Ackles for their "hottest" article. I'm afraid I don't get the Ackles love. I'm not saying he's not pretty -- he is. But it's like looking at a very nicely made piece of art. I don't want to hump it.

As opposed to Padalecki, which I find has the raw, animal magnetism for me. Rawr.

It always makes me sad that I see Ackles voted up EVERYWHERE and Padalecki gets no love :( This chick just needs to look at any website ever and she'll be appeased.

Thank you, that's what I say alot, I don't understand why it is whenever Jared gets nominated for something, all of a sudden everyone's freaking out and saying that the "better one" didn't get it too.

My God, it is getting really old.

Its very simple. You put both boys in the same issue, and there will be over a million fangirls dead from squeeing so much that they forgot to breathe.

Honestly, why did they forget Jensen? It seems so strange. Heh, they forgot Barrowman too so oh well. I never get too over worked about things like these. I look at this way, if one of the guys is in a thing like this, then that means exposure for the show and more fangirls come which means higher ratings and finally CSI can sink its little ship!

I don't see why they couldn't have put both of them in the issue. It's not like they said they could only do one person from each show...there are several people from mainstream (and overrated) shows like Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives every year.

That being said, they are stupid to not include Jensen. They probably don't because he doesn't do "beefcake" shots much anymore. Not that I blame him. Most other actors have to "sell" their looks, Jensen has to try and play them down because he's lost roles because people think "pretty boy". Male models usually have hot bodies too, it doesn't mean they can act so I think at this point Jensen tries not to do anything encourages seeing him as a "hunk"(which after all, I think comes from the phrase "hunk of meat", aka hot body).

Still that's good for Jensen but I want to see him included in "sexiest issues". LOL

It's not like the same thing didn't happen when Jensen was chosen. I remember quite well the cries of "But why did Jared get included too!!!"

It's got nothing to do with Jared love, it's got to do with people always want to see their favorites included and if Jensen is someone's favorite, whether it's 5 people or 5 million people, they are going to want him to be there.

It's always mutual, there are some over the top Jared fans that do everything they can to tear down Jensen, and there are over the top Jensen fans that try to bring down Jared.

I don't get it, I really don't.

I can understand people wanting Jensen being in the magazine (or Jared if it's the opposite one) but I don't understand why they have to tear down Jared (or Jensen) in the process.

I didn't take what was said as tearing down, I took it as "Get it right, you've included just Jared, next time include both of them" not "Get it right, you included the wrong one". :)

I think Jensen's totally gorgeous. His body, his eyes, lips, nose and his hair all are effortlessly beautiful.

Agt Spooky; I'm with you girl. Jensen should have been included and while Jared fans find him hot, I really don't. I think he's cute, but that's where it ends. I see no animal magnetism with Jared, but I do see Sex on Legs with Jensen. The man is just Sex personified. It's too bad that tv guide has blinders on, but looking at their other choices, I can see that top of the line isn't always their preferences.

Very true! SPN usually flies under the radar, so to have any publicity is an amazing thing, no matter which of the J's got picked.

I mean, I truly love both boys. Both of their personalities are simply amazing. I just find Jensen more physically attractive. So I'd love to see him in a Hottest Bod issue wearing a wife beater, too! :-)
